Why did Omni rebrand to Nomina?
We rebranded to better reflect our mission: becoming the number one access point for first movers of the onchain era.
Is the Nomina team the same team behind Omni?
Yes. The same team that built Omni is behind Nomina. Our vision has expanded, but our team members and commitment remain the same.

What happens to my staked $OMNI?
$OMNI stakers who have $OMNI on the Omni EVM won’t need to take any action. Once we upgrade the network in the weeks following the rebrand launch, any staked $OMNI and all staking rewards will be automatically upgraded to $NOM.
If you are a genesis staker who did not participate in our upgrade campaign, your $OMNI on L1 will not be automatically upgraded and will, instead, be returned to you on L1. If you did not participate in the upgrade, you will need to migrate via the migration app.
When can I start staking $NOM?
Exact timelines will be shared via official channels.
